Admissions

We're excited you're interested in joining us at Eagle Academy High School. We enroll students throughout the year, with new start dates at the beginning of each quarter. To be considered for  enrollment, please follow the steps below.

Application and Submission

  1. Complete the online application form. You can find the link on the Eagle Academy website under the "Enroll" section.
  2. Submit the application to Eagle Academy.

Required Documentation

  1. Meet with your current school counselor and ask them to complete the Counselor Recommendation Form. This form is also located on our website under "Enroll".
  2. If you have a 504 plan, please email the documentation to gaquintana@dcsdk12.org.  If you have an Individualized Education Program (IEP), please email the documents to spapandrea@dcsdk12.org. 

Enrollment Decision

Once we have received all your documents, we will review the information. Then, you will be notified by phone and email to schedule an in-person meeting with our Principal and Counselors. The student and at least one parent or guardian should attend this meeting.

During the in-person interview, we will share information about Eagle Academy, the expectations for students, and the support services available to help you achieve your goals.  You will have an opportunity to share your education background and what you hope to accomplish as an Eagle Academy student.  

A current student of EA will offer you a tour of the school during your visit.  In addition, you will receive documentation including the school calendar outlining important dates, information on career pathways/work experience program, student success score information, cell phone policy and the enrollment contract.

Following the meeting, you'll be notified by phone and email regarding your enrollment status within one week. If you receive an enrollment invitation, please confirm your plans so we can begin the registration process or provide the spot to another interested student. 

New Student Orientation

We hold new student orientations before the first day of each quarter to help students get acquainted with the school.
