Elizabeth Garth

I am the Transition Counselor at Eagle Academy.  I have worked with youth in various roles since graduating with my Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Education emphasizing Educational Counseling.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Counselor, Level III.  I am a native to Colorado, growing up in Littleton.  My husband and I have twins who we adopted from Haiti.  Residing in the Denver Metro area, I am familiar with community resources and hope that I can support students with accessing the services and resources they need to be successful while in High School and once they graduate.  As mentioned above, I have served youth in various capacities, including private practice, Juvenile Justice, Social Services, as an Educational Counselor and Transition Specialist.  I am familiar with Restorative Justice dialogues and mediation, supporting students with developing strategies for socio-emotional needs, addressing grief and loss, relapse prevention for addiction, and interventions for anger management.
