Originally from Niagara Falls, New York, I have proudly called Colorado home since 1998. My educational journey began at Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania and Canisius University in Buffalo, NY, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and my teaching credential. I went on to complete a Master’s degree in Special Education at D’Youville University  in Buffalo, followed by an additional Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, along with my Principal Licensure, from the University of Colorado Boulder.

With 33 years of experience in education — 27 of those as a school administrator — I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles that have deepened my commitment to student growth and learning. I’m now entering my 10th year as Principal of Eagle Academy High School, a place that has truly captured my heart. Leading this school has been my absolute passion, as we continue to build a learning environment where every student can discover their spark through personalized learning, access to mental health support, and strong, meaningful relationships that foster our family-like atmosphere.

Outside of school, I’m a proud parent of four amazing children — two daughters and two sons, and a grandparent to two wonderful grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy cooking (I'm a self professed Foodie!) most sports, with a particular love for golf, which I play regularly, and of course, I’m a devoted fan of my hometown team — the Buffalo Bills. As we say back home in Western NY: Go Bills!
